Flaherty returns along with Cone to see if Kay can back up his record outing last night with another annoying performance. I missed the first hour of the game so I'm picking it up in the top of the fourth.

Kay rattles off a bunch of negative stats about Hafner then asks..
"At what point does he start to think he cannot hit anymore?" Again this is the same dumb question he asks about Giambi and it always gets the same responses.

"John, what do you see in Cliff Lee?"

"Now is he difficult to pick up because at 91 everyone seems to be late on him?"

Not much else. He must have been worn out from his 'dominate' performance the night before. Plus Cone and Flaherty like to talk and they gab an awful lot.
